央视国际频道以品牌推动海外发展战略(视频)

        China’s largest Television network China Central Television has hosted a forum with its international partners to discuss further promoting its international brand. The two-day forum started on Wednesday in Beijing when CCTV’s international partners gathered to express opinions on the development of CCTV’s brand promotion in overseas market.
        China Central Television is becoming more and more recognizable globally. CCTV has 37 channels that are watched by 700 million viewers. It is the only television station in the world that broadcasts in six UN working languages with 314 million views overseas.
        CCTV is now carried by cable companies in 171 countries. When talking about going global, CCTV’s officials are proud of its current development.
        "We’ve launched CCTV America and CCTV Africa as our substations. And our news production network consists of 70 overseas reporting offices." said Wei Dichun, Vice President, CCTV.
        CCTV invited some of its most important overseas partners to the forum, including Walt Disney whose cartoons are as famous in China as in the US, and Vision 247 who helped CCTVNEWS to be received in over 500 hotels in the UK.
        "I think CCTV is now becoming quite recognized as there is a huge hunger in the UK to know more about China...." said John Mills, CEO, Vision 247.
        CCTV’s partners from the US, Japan, France and Italy all gave speeches about their achievement in promoting CCTV’s brand globally.
