A military jury begins its second day of deliberations on Friday in the trial of Major Nidal Hasan. He’s accused of killing 13 people in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting rampage.
Israeli warplanes struck an area just south of Beirut, Lebanon on Friday. Israel said it targeted a terror site in response to a rocket attack. A Palestinian official in Lebanon said there were no casualties.
