The military trial of Major Nidal Hasan continues Wednesday at Fort Hood, Texas. Hasan, acting in his own defense, said “I am the shooter” Tuesday, referring to the attack that killed 13 people back in 2009.
A massive fire wrecked the arrivals hall at Nairobi, Kenya’s main international airport. Flights were being diverted to Mombasa, Kenya.
At least one person is dead in the huge floods swamping south-central Missouri. More rain is forecast for the region.
And daredevil Anthony Martin had himself handcuffed, locked in a coffin and thrown out of an airplane. He escaped, parachuted, and landed safely in northern Illinois.
