This was once a five tonne minke whale, and its carcass provides hundreds of times more food to this small patch of seabed than it would normally get in a year. It's like an ocean buffet that could support over 400 different species, many of which are new to science.
It's quite a skill, isn't it, driving the ROV without kicking up all the silt?
