A quickly-shifting wildfire killed 19 members of an elite fire crew in Arizona Sunday. The firefighters were caught near Yarnell in central Arizona when the fire suddenly moved in their direction. The blaze has destroyed an estimated 200 homes.
San Francisco Bay area transit workers went on strike overnight. The walkout could derail more than 400,000 riders.
President Obama flies to Tanzania Monday, following his visit to South Africa.
And more hot weather is forecast for parts of the southwest Monday. Some of the temperatures Sunday included 128 degrees in Death Valley and 117 in Las Vegas, which tied the city's record high.
