To football now here on the BBC World Service and the Uruguayan international Luis Suárez has reiterated his desire to leave Liverpool and play for a team who can give him European Champions League football next season. Speaking on the Uruguayan radio station, Suárez said there are several options, there were two or three interested clubs and Liverpool know about this. BBC's sports reporter Richard Conway has more.
"Luis Suárez has made no secret this summer of his desire to leave Liverpool. Driven by an urge to play Champions League football and to leave behind what he considers as an unfair British media, his agent met with Liverpool's manager Brendan Rogers and the club's chief executive yesterday. While an official transfer request was not submitted, Suárez's motivation to leave was reiterated.
