One of today's major problems is that natural energy resources such as coal and oil are apparently running out quickly and are not renewable.
It is there fore imperative that, as a start, every effort be made to cut down on the use of these precious resources. Obviously, the most direct way to do this is to be more fuel-economical. In particular, people should be made to drive smaller cars and the fuel consumption of cars should be made more efficient. Moreover, people should be encouraged to make use of public transport whenever they can, which can be achieved by taxing cars and the use of road space.当今我们所面临的主要问题之一是，诸如煤炭和石油之类的天然能源显然正在被快速耗尽，并且它们是不可再生的。
因此，首先我们必须尽一切努力减少使用这些宝贵资源。显而易见的是，做到这一点的最直接方式就是使用更经济的燃料，特别是应该驾驶更小型更省油的汽车。此外，可以通过对车辆和道路使用空间进行征税，来鼓励人们尽量使用公共交通工具。
