China’s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner has arrived in Guangzhou, south China’s Guangdong Province.
It landed Sunday morning at the New Baiyun International Airport, and will undergo at least 25 hours of flying tests before beginning commercial operation. Joining China Southern Airlines, it is expected to fly on round-routes between Beijing and Guangzhou from next week on.
The aircraft accommodates 4 first-class seats, 24 business-class seats and 200 economy-class seats. Designed for long-distance flights, the Boeing 787 is a new aircraft range in the civil aviation market after the Airbus A380 passenger jetliner. It is quieter and more fuel efficient. |
