A jury found Jodi Arias guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. The four-month trial culminated in the verdict read Wednesday afternoon. Arias had claimed she acted in self-defense.

Congress is learning more details of the deadly attack on a U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. At a hearing today, House Republicans renewed charges that the Obama administration is covering up information about last year's assault. Democrats are accusing the GOP of politicizing the issue.
And the cast of NBC's long-running comedy "The Office" received a hero's welcome on their farewell visit to Scranton. Cast members joined a parade as the sitcom wraps up its ninth and final season. “The Office” helped turn the city into something of a tourist attraction.
