Next up to say a few words about his book and tell us what the Young Lions means to him, Dan Humphrey.
What a wonderful introduction, Dan. I truly could not tell you how moved I was by all the touching things you wrote about me in “inside". A book can only be read by people who know how to read it. Otherwise, it is nothing more than a paperweight or a doorstop.
However, as always, I prefer to remain anonymous. So a toast to Dan, and to literacy, and to me, anonymously. Cheers.下面这位，将会对他的新书说几句。他将会告诉我们，幼狮基金会对他来讲，意味着什么。有请丹汉服瑞。

多么精彩的介绍，丹。任何言语也不能表达《局外人》中关于我的部分让我多么感动。一本书只能被会读书的人读懂。否则，这本书不过只是一个镇纸石或者门垫。所以我，布莱尔霍道福 决定给幼狮基金会提供捐助。以帮助孩子们提高文化修养。这样所有像我一样的卑鄙纽约客就可以具备那份文学修养，读懂《局外人》。当然，像往常一样，我更愿意匿名捐助。那么，为丹干杯吧，为文学修养，也为我，匿名氏。干杯吧。 |
