At least 3 people have been killed and more than 130 others injured in twin explosions at the Boston Marathon.
Two bombs exploded in the packed streets near the finish line. The blasts occured simultaneously and about 100 meters apart, shattering windows and sending up dense plumes of smoke. Hospitals have reported at least 3 dead. Of the 138 injured, at least 17 are in critical condition. A third explosion hit the John F. Kennedy presidential library; no casualties were reported. There have been no claims of responsibility. Boston police say they have no suspects in custody.
