The final round of qualifying's not yet been completed but tickets for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations go on sale in South Africa on Wednesday. "Well, the organisers of the Nations Cup here in South Africa 2013 are gearing up for the opening of ticket sales for the tournament. They go on sale here in Johannesburg and around the country at 8 o'clock local time tomorrow morning, now of course that is before the final round of qualifying matches and also before the draw on the 24th October, but they need to get the tickets sales up and running because they're very aware that there's a bit of bad history of poor attendance at recent Africa Cup of Nations and they are trying to do something about that. They are saying the tickets are gonna be considerably cheaper, you should be, if you buy earlier enough, able to get a ticket for a group match for around about 40 Rand which is something like $3.70 at the moment at the discount rate, and they are also hoping to tap into South Africa's very big African expat community. The tickets are gonna be on sale in supermarkets around the country, and they are also gonna be on sale on the internet and by telephone and that means that fans across the continent and beyond should also be able to secure tickets.
