First though a taste of the Business News this week. This was the week when a large contingent of the world's great and good as they like to think of themselves gathered in the snowy Swiss mountain resort of Davos for their annual jamboree. Meanwhile one of the leading US Republican candidates, the independently wealthy Mitt Romney divulged the size of his tax bill, not very big. At the same time, Greece continued to haggle with its private investors over the length of their hair cuts, a close crop is what Greece is hoping for. There was of course a big idea from one of the other US Republican candidates this week, Newt Gingrich's moon colony which if it is ever built will presumably provide somewhere for the rich to offshore their money even further from the grasp of the taxman. And as Chinese New Year ushers in the highly auspicious Year of the Dragon, many more Chinese consumers are about to enter the world.
