Analyst Al Goldman agrees investors will take the cautious road for a while. But he believes the market is bound to move higher later this year.
“What it's gonna take is an increase in confidence. Everybody, even the staunchest 'bear', would admit that, sooner or later, the economy's gonna turn around. We look for better economic conditions by the fourth quarter and earnings doing better by the first quarter of next year. And the market is really just six months away from that."
