I thought it was a funny ad. It just appealed to my sense of fun, and actually it was a bit of a joke to say that I'd bought something as big as a car purely on the basis of the advert.
I remember watching a Dairy Box chocolate advert very late at night with some college friends, and there was an all-night garage round the corner. Suddenly I just felt that I had to have those chocolates and I went out and bought them. It was an immediate response to an advert. Normally you don't allow yourself to be influenced strongly by ads but sometimes it's fun just to go along with it.
Andrew, could you tell me what has been your most successful advertising campaign?
Er, I did a campaign for a marmalade product called Frank Cooper's marmalade, in Britain. |
