But we start with football here on the BBC World Service and Ghana have qualified in style for the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations with a convincing 3-0 win over Niger in Port Elizabeth. The Black Stars finished top of Group B and will be joined in the knockout stages by Mali, who drew 1-1 with DR Congo in Durban. Rounding up the action, here is the BBC's Nick Cavell.
The Black Stars took the lead after just five minutes when Albert Doma cut the ball inside from the right wing, and Asamoah Gyan took one touch before smashing the ball across the keeper and into the net. Four minutes later, Niger had the ball in the net themselves, but the goal was ruled out with Moussa Maazou adjudged to have fouled the keeper in the build-up. There was contact, but it was minimal. And on 22 minutes, Gyan turned provider, as his cross was chested down and prodded home by Christian Atsu. The game was settled two minutes after the break as Asamoah Gyan's header wasn't held by Niger's Daouda Kassali in the goal, and defender John Boye had the easiest finishes from a yard out.
