        孤身背井离乡,总觉凄凉,最可恨是被人看作难民,饱受欺辱。但是哪里有压迫哪里就有反抗。
        本篇听写嘉宾的话,主持人的话不需要听写。
主持人的话:①“So now over the years, though, has the term refugee been applied more and more broadly -- for example, to natural events like storms?"

        Catholic
        Huguenot
        Dust Bowl
        California
        Woody Guthrie

"It comes out of religious persecution in the 17th century, when the Catholic government of France persecuted the French Huguenots, the Protestants of the time. And they were forced to flee to other countries and also to the British colonies in what is now the United States. And so this term 'refugee' was used to describe them. After that point, it became applied to various other groups who were fleeing persecution or various political problems. And it eventually became used to refer to any displaced persons driven from home, by a war for instance."
"It has. Perhaps the most well-known example of this was in the 1930s, when the Dust Bowl, the term that was used for the terrible dust storms that affected the central part of the United States, this caused many poor farmers to flee, many of them going to California. And these poor farmers were called 'Dust Bowl refugees.' And there was a well-known song by Woody Guthrie."
