看新闻学英语：保险公司推出“宠物专属保险产品”

　　随着当下城市中饲养猫狗宠物的家庭越来越多，有保险公司开始瞄准这一新兴市场，推出了针对宠物的专属保险产品。
        　　Pet owners in Shanghai are now able to insure their cats and dogs,
including unlicensed ones, to cover the costs if their pets fall ill or have an
unexpected accident.
        　　上海的宠物主人们现在可以为他们的猫狗宠物上保险了，如果他们的宠物生病或发生意外事故，他们就可以获得赔偿，未登记的宠物也包括在内。
        　　在推出天气保险(weather insurance)、世界杯保险(World Cup insurance)以及赏月险(insurance policy
for full moon gazing)之后，国内的两家保险公司最近把目光投向了猫狗等宠物，推出了宠物保险产品(pet insurance
policy)。

        　　其中一个产品为综合保险产品，涵盖宠物医疗费用(pet's medical costs)、第三方责任保险(third-party liability
insurance)、宠物丢失后的广告费用(the advertising fee for searching for a lost
animal)，以及宠物死亡后的补偿(allowance for a pet’s death)。
        　　据悉，保险公司采用先进的DNA身份认定技术(DNA identification
technology)来认证宠物身份，因此未在公安机关登记的宠物也可以上保险。
