Describe a famous city in China.
You should say:
   where the city is
   why it is important
   whether you visited it before
and explain whether you think it will be better in the future.I guess people all over the world have heard something about this city, not just because of its long history, but also because of the 2008 Olympics.
Obviously, Beijing is best known for its brilliant history. It's the capital city of China, not just now, but also in five dynasties in the Chinese history. Beijing is also renowned for its cultural diversity. Over 1 million foreign people from over 150 countries are living in Beijing now, which is absolutely amazing. And as you probably know, Beijing is politically important to China coz most of the national leaders live here.
What fascinates me most is the interaction between modernity and tradition here. You know, glass-wrapped buildings are sprouting up all over this 3000-year-old city.
