A memorial service has been held for Luo Yang, the chief commander of China’s J-15 fighter jet. The service was held in the Longgang Revolutionary Cemetery in the north-eastern city of Shenyang.
Relatives and friends of Luo Yang attended the service. Officials from various government departments, and the military and aviation industry paid their respects and sent condolences.
Luo Yang was conducting a training mission on China’s aircraft carrier on Sunday, when he suffered a heart attack and later died. He was 51.
