President Obama is swinging back Republicans on gas prices. He says campaign rather recommending more drilling is a bumper sticker, not a long-term solution of the nation's energy situation.
Israel pounded Gaza for the second day in a row Saturday, trading airstrikes and rocket fire with Palestinian militants, killing 15 of them. It’s the deadliest Gaza violence in more than a year and shows no sign of invading.
Mourners have been gathering in Japan to mark the first anniversary of the massive earthquake and tsunami that devastated the country. Nearly 19,000 people were killed after it set off a worst nuclear crisis in recent years.
It was a day at the beach of Brazil for Britain’s Prince Harry. He played rugby and volleyball with children and professional athletes in Rio de Janeiro, delighting crowds of onlookers.
