Welcome back to News Hour. The national weather authority says a strong cold front is expected to hit China. The country is bracing itself for strong wind and chilly temperatures in the coming days, with the snow and rain expected in central and eastern China.
Tuesday and Wednesday are likely to see heavy snow in the central of Anhui, the east of Hubei, and the south of Henan, as well as middle and northern parts of Jiangsu Province.
Snowstorms are expected to be especially bad in Anhui Province. Blizzards continue in the Shigatse area of Tibetan Autonomous Region for a 6th day on Monday. Traffic has been disrupted but emergency maintenance is still underway.欢迎回到新闻时间。中国气象局称一股强冷空气前锋将影响我国。我国正在做好防风防冻准备工作，预计中国的中部和东部地区将迎来雨雪天气。
预计周二、周三，安徽合肥、湖北东部、河南南部、以及江苏的中部和北部地区极有可能会出现暴雪天气。
安徽的暴风雪天气尤为严重。到13日(周一)为止，西藏自治区日喀则地区出现的强降雪天气已经持续了六天，造成交通中断，目前仍在紧急抢修中。
