Lantern festivals are getting underway all over the country. And the 4th Lantern Festival in Shengyang of Liaoning Province features tens of thousands of lanterns spreading their joyful spirit.
Dragons are the big theme for the year and lanterns showing dragons in various gestures can be seen everywhere. Some even have a movable head, tail or feet. The festival has about 80 lantern groups in all with 30 focusing on the dragon.
The festival also focuses on movable lanterns showing sports elements and history, both designed with kids in mind. Another highlight is the lighted path, which at night, looks like a long corridor.
The display will be open every day from 9 am till 9 pm through February 6th, the official date of the Lantern Festival.元宵节灯会正在全国如火如荼的进行，被成千上万的灯笼装点的第四届辽宁沈阳元宵节洋溢着喜庆的气氛。
龙是今年灯会的一大主题，形态各异的龙灯在灯会上随处可见。有些甚至可以摇头摆尾，舞动爪子。此次灯会共有80组灯笼展出，其中以龙为中心就有30个。
此次灯会也通过可移动的灯笼向小孩展示运动元素和历史的理念。灯会的另一亮点就是亮灯后的景象，在夜晚宛如一条长廊。
元宵灯会为每天早上9点到晚上9点，直到官方元宵节2月6日截止。
