          Tryst常用来指“情人的幽会”，如：In modern China, the café is often considered a good place for a lover's tryst（现今在中国，咖啡屋通常被认为是情人幽会的好地方）。另外，在花边新闻中，记者也喜欢用“tryst”来披露明星们的“浪漫史”—— 为了躲避“狗仔队”，名人们不得不“to keep secret tryst with sb”（秘密约会）。
