“伪娘”，英语怎么说？

　　对于“伪娘”这个词，外国媒体的报道中基本都使用cross-dressing(异装)来表示，例如：
　　The Chinese public is abuzz about the recent cross-dressing contestant, Liu Zhu, on the Super Boy reality show.
　　刘著，今年“快男”比赛中的一位异装(即大家所说的“伪娘”)选手目前已成为国内观众热议的一个人物。
　　英文的Wikipedia对cross-dressing一词有很详尽的解释，以下是部分摘录：
　　Cross-dressing runs significantly counter to social norms and, therefore, can be seen as a type of transgender behavior. It does not, however, necessarily indicate transgender identity; a person who cross-dresses does not always identify as being of the opposite gender. Referring to a person as a cross-dresser suggests that their cross-dressing behavior is habitual
　　异装行为因严重背离社会大众的普遍观念，因此经常被认为是一种变性行为。然而，异装行为并不一定代表变性身份，异装行为的人并不一定就是把自己归入异性的行列。

　　另外，也有说法表示“伪娘”一词来源于日本，根据 日语 原意可译为newhalf，指拥有女性美貌的男性。英文解释如下：
　　The Japanese word "newhalf" is used to describe a man who has made the mental and/or physical transition to being a woman.
　　日语 单词newhalf指从心理上以及或者身体上转变为女性的男人。
　　由此，明确表示自己是男生的刘著应该只算是一位cross dresser，不应该归入newhalf的级别吧。
