莎士比亚十四行诗之六十一

　　十四行诗，又称“商籁体”，发源于意大利，流行于十四至十六世纪文艺复兴时期的欧洲大陆。其语句整齐、短小精悍、格律严谨、富于音乐效果，内容多以歌咏爱情为主。十六世纪中叶传入英国，不久便风行于英国诗坛。
        　　莎士比亚是英国十四行诗的代表人物，他的诗打破原有诗体的惯例，独树一帜，被称为“莎体”。莎士比亚一生写下一百五十四首十四行诗。
        　　Is it thy will by image should keep open
        　　My heavy eyelids to the weary night?
        　　Dost thou desire my slumbers should be1 broken.
        　　While shadows like to thee do mock my sight?
        　　Is it thy spirit that thou send’st from thee
        　　So far from home into my deeds to pry,
        　　To find out shames and idle hours in me,
        　　The scope and tenure of thy jealousy?
        　　O, no! thy love, though much, is not so great;
        　　It is my love that keeps mine eye awake;
        　　Mine own true love that doth my test defeat,
        　　To play the watchman ever for thy sake:
        　　For thee watch I whilst thou dost wake elsewhere,
        　　From me far off, with others all too near.
        　　你的身影是否有意
        　　使我睁着朦胧睡眼独对漫漫长夜，
        　　用你的身影戏玩我的目光，
        　　使我辗转反侧，彻夜难眠。
        　　你的灵魂是否受你调遣，
        　　远远而来探看我的行为，

        　　这真是使人嫉妒的范围和职权，
        　　不，你的爱尚未涵盖如此深远，
        　　是我的爱使我清醒，
        　　是我的真情让我不能成眠，
        　　为你，我守候到天明。
        　　我为你守夜，而你在别处清醒，
        　　远离我而与别人亲近。
