“禁止入内”如何表达

　　我们在很多地方都可以看到“禁止入内”的标示，那么这个在英语中该怎么说呢?
        　　在美国口语中，禁止入内可以用“off limits”来表达。比如：Girls dorms are off limits to
boys.女生宿舍男生禁止入内。你要是在某些学校见到这样的招牌，就得好好琢磨琢磨是什么意思，千万不可莽撞行动。再看一个例子：United States
Secretary General Kofi Annan sent the team to survey eight presidential sites,
which Iraq has declared off limits to UN weapons inspectors.
联合国秘书长科菲•安南派出这个小组，检查总统府的八处地点，但伊拉克宣布，这些地点禁止联合国武器检查人员入内。
        　　“禁止入内”的另一个说法是out of bounds to，比如：In imperial times, Chang'an Boulevard,
which runs through the square from east to west, was a small dirt road out of
bounds to commoners. 封建时代，贯穿天安门广场东西走向的长安街还是条小土路，禁止老百姓通行。 再比如：That part of town
is out of bounds to soldiers. 镇上那片地区禁止士兵入内。
        　　另外，还有的标示是“非工作人员禁止入内”，这在英语中可以用staff only 来表示。另外常见的表示“禁止入内”的标示还有：
        　　Do not enter, alarm operating 装有警报，禁止入内
        　　No admittance 禁止入内
        　　No entry for general public 公众不得入内
        　　No unauthorized access prohibited 未经许可，禁止入内
        　　No unauthorized entry 未经许可，不得入内
