　　词汇在英语四六级备考中可谓是一大关键，从接触英语开始我们就在接触词汇，对于词汇的学习也不是一天两天就能结束的，2015年12月份的四六级考试还离我们比较远，但是词汇是不能拿来突击的，所以有意参加下半年考试的考生还是乖乖来开始复习词汇比较靠谱，来看看四六级考试网整理的六级词汇为考试提早做准备哦!
　　1. dwell on v. 总是想;详述
　　Don’t dwell on the past.
　　别总想着过去。
　　Stop dwelling on your problems and do something about them!
　　别老唠叨你的那些问题，还是做些实际工作解决它们吧!
　　2. elevate v. 提高;抬升
　　词义辨析：elevate, lift, hoist, raise, heave, boost
　　elevate 较正式用词，指位置、高度的升高，多作比喻用，指职位、品德等的提高。
　　lift 指用人力或机械力把某物升到较高的位置。 中华考试网
　　hoist 多指用绳索、滑轮等机械把重物升起。
　　raise 较正式用词，常可与lift换用，但强调把某物举起或抬起到应有的高度。常用比喻。
　　heave 指需花大力气或借外力才能举起或抬起重物。
　　boost 原义指从后面或下面推起或提高，现常用于指提高价格、振作精神等抽象概念。

　　3. elicit v. 诱出;引出
　　elicit the truth from the witness
　　从证人那里诱供出真相
　　It was designed to elicit the best thinking within the government.
　　机构的设置是为了在政府内部集思广益。
　　4. eligible a. 合适的，有资格的
　　同义词：qualified
　　John is an eligible/qualified bachelor.
　　约翰是一名合格的学士。
　　eligible和illegible形近，illegible意为“难读的”、“难辨认的” ，illegible handwriting 难认的字体
　　5.elite n. 精英
