　　制造业(manufacturing industry)是中国的支柱产业之一。中国有非常强大的制造业集团，制造的一些产品包括手机零部件、飞机部件、半导体 (semiconductor)和食品。中国还制造一些用于应急医疗服务的医疗设备。近年来，中国在制造业方面已经成为美国主要的贸易伙伴之一。但是，中国制造业信息工程的整体发展速度在整体上仍落后于西方发达国家。为了提高制造业企业的核心竞争力(corecompetitiveness)，信息技术的使用已不可避免。

　　The manufacturing industry is one of the backbone industries in China.China has a very strong manufacturing group.Some of the items that China manufactures include parts for mobile phones，airplanes，semiconductors, and food.China also manufactures some medical equipments used for emergency medical services.In recent years，China has become one of the United States'primary trading partners in manufacturing industry.However，the overall progress of information engineering in China's manufacturing industry still falls behind that of western developed countries.It has become unavoidable to make use of information technologies improve the core competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises.
