这可都指向捷克呀！看，我们都不知不觉地与这个距离中国7,000多公里的国家一直有着千丝万缕的联系(We are all somehow related to the country that is more than 7,000 kilometers/4,350 miles away from China)。
1.流行歌曲 《布拉格广场》
“我就站在布拉格黄昏的广场(In the Prague Square in the dusk)／在许愿池投下了希望(I threw a hope into the wish pond)／那群白鸽背对着夕阳(The white pigeons flew back on to he sun)／那画面太美我不敢看(It’s so beautiful that I dare not to put my eyes on)”
是不是已经像中毒一样哼起来了？周杰伦作曲、方文山填词、蔡依林演唱，简直是80后、90后的最爱音乐标配。

这首歌，描述的是一段发生在捷克首都布拉格的唯美爱情故事(a beautiful romance in Prague, capital of Czech Republic)：一位漂亮的修女在教堂看着广场，静静地欣赏一个陌生的男孩在弹着琴、唱着流浪歌曲，并幻想两个人的爱情故事。修女在许愿池祈祷爱情(The nun pray for love in front of the wish pond.)，可是修道士(friar)说，修女是不能动“凡心”的。这就好像是一个美丽的地方一场美丽的梦，梦醒来什么都没有了(It’s like a beautiful dream in a beautiful place, but when you wake up, all is gone)。
2.文学巨著 《不能承受的生命之轻》
这是捷克小说家米兰·昆德拉（Milan Kundera）最负盛名的作品，《纽约时报》曾将该作是评为20世纪最重要的经典之作(It was rated as the most important classic in the 20th century by the New York Times)。

昆德拉曾多次被提名为诺贝尔文学奖的候选人（on the list of nominees for the Nobel Prize for Literature），国际知名作品还有《生活在别处》(Life is elsewhere)、《告别圆舞曲》(Farewell Waltz)等。他善于以反讽手法(irony)，用幽默的语调描绘人类境况，过去的几十年间，在世界许多国家曾一次又一次地掀起“昆德拉热”(“Kundera Boom”)。

《不能承受的生命之轻》中的男主人公托马斯是一个外科医生(surgeon)，婚姻失败(failed marriage)，发展出一套“外遇守则”(rule of affairs)。可后来他爱上一个餐厅的服务员特丽莎并娶她为妻，这违反了他制定的原则(goes against his rule)；他继续保有多名情妇，试图分开灵肉(keep spirit and flesh separate)，伤害着全心全意爱他的特丽莎……最后，他们意识到彼此是生命中甜美的负担(The recognizes that they were the sweet burden in each other’s life)。

“负担越重，我们的生命越贴近大地，它就越真切实在；相反，当负担完全缺失，人就会变得比空气还轻，就会飘起来。”With more burden, our lives go closer to the earth, which makes them real beings; on the contrary, people become lighter than air if without burden, which makes them float up.
这或许是昆德拉笔下的“轻与重”。
3.经典影片 《布拉格之恋》

4.啤酒王国 捷克啤酒
捷克是啤酒王国(Beer Kingdom)，流传着 “啤酒造就好身材”的口头禅，有全世界最高的年人均啤酒消耗量(the highest annual beer consumption per capita)，超过140升，相当于平均每人每天喝一瓶啤酒。有史料可查的波希米亚(Bohemia)民族喝啤酒历史可以上溯到公元前859年(date back to BC 859)。

5.童年回忆 《鼹鼠的故事》
最后，《鼹鼠的故事》是一部著名的捷克动画片，从上世纪70年代到本世纪初，一共出了50集左右。这部动画片，既承袭了捷克经典儿童文学的写实传统，又兼具幽默和抒情的风格，给中国观众也带来不少乐趣。The cartoon not only follows the realism tradition of children’s classic in Czech, but also adopts humor and lyric styles, bringing much fun to Chinese audience.
