A new beta release of iOS 8.3, currently available only to software developers, fixes that. It includes the option to change an emoji's skin color, meaning you can finally choose something beyond the pale pink hands and white boys and girls currently available. The new beta version of iOS 8.3 includes an array of diverse emojis, not only characters with different skin colors, but also different family makeups. Same-sex parents are included in the publicly unreleased version.
