        Obama decided to shop at the Gap to spotlight the company's new policy of paying entry level employees more than the minimum wage.奥巴马之所以选择Gap商店购物，是为了让民众注意该公司最近出台的一项新政策——提高员工的最低薪资。

        He pointed out that the minimum wage is not just going to teenagers; the average age of a minimum-wage earner is 35.
