        An 18th painting of Catherine the Great has gone viral after a British politics student noticed it bears an uncanny similarity to David Cameron.一幅18世纪的叶卡捷琳娜二世画像迅速走红，原因是一名英国政治系的学生发现画中人和首相戴维·卡梅伦惊人地相似。

        Despite being a frequent user of Twitter, it is thought Mr Cameron is unaware of the image because he has been in Afghanistan visiting troops.虽然英国首相卡梅伦经常上推特，不过由于他目前正在阿富汗探访驻阿英军，估计他还没注意到这幅画像。
        Miss Gadd noticed the painting at the weekend while visiting galleries in Germany.盖德说周末她去德国参观美术馆时，注意到了这幅画像。
        She wrote Twitter: 'This painting of an 18th century woman totally looks like David Cameron in drag.'她在推特上写道：“这幅18世纪的女人画像简直就是戴维·卡梅伦的反串版本。”

        Other web users identified the painting as being Catherine II the Great, Empress of Russia, with diadem and coronation robe.有网友认出了这幅画像其实是俄国女皇叶卡捷琳娜二世，画中她戴着皇冠，身着加冕礼袍。
