奥运英语：消防站

　　据来自公安部的消息，到奥运会开始前，北京将有34个新的消防站建成使用，那么“消防站”怎么说呢?
        　　请看新华社的报道：
        　　Beijing will complete construction of 34 fire stations before the 2008
Beijing Olympic Games to safeguard safety of the stadiums.
        　　Upon completion of all the stations, the firemen can arrive at any of the
stadiums in two minutes after an emergency call.
        　　为保证奥运场馆安全，奥运会前，北京将有34个新消防站建成使用，从而可以确保消防员接警后两分钟以内到达所有奥运比赛场馆。
        　　这里，station为“站，所，提供服务或指挥运作的地方”，比如“police station警察局”，“railway
station火车站”等等，消防站就是“fire station”;另外，“firehouse” 也可以用来表示消防站，消防队。
