实用英语：今冬两起人禽流感病例并非“人传人”

　　针对最近江苏省南京市相继出现的2例人感染高致病性禽流感病例，卫生部新闻发言人毛群安指出，病原学检测结果显示，两病例之间不是人传人。那么“人与人之间的传播”怎么说呢?

        　　"The virus in the first case originated with poultry and has not mutated.
It has no biological features for human-to-human transmission," said Mao
Qun'an.
        　　毛群安说，第一例死亡病例标本分离到的病毒分析显示，病毒仍然是禽源性的，没有发生本质性的变异，不具备人传人的生物学基础。
        　　这里，人传人表达为“human-to-human transmission”或“human
transmission”另外一种意义相近的表达为“transmissible from person to person”。
        　　“Transmission”此处指疾病的传播，传染，如“the transmission of disease by
mosquitoes”由蚊子引起的疾病传染。
