　　The Sphinx (斯芬克斯，带翼的狮身女怪，传说中常叫过路人猜谜，猜不出就被噬食) is a mythical creature with
the body of a lion, the head of a woman, and the wings of a bird. You don't see
many of them around, though you might hear someone who is mysteriously quiet
described as being (as) silent as the Sphinx. "I've never understood Laura. She
rarely talks to anyone. She's silent as the Sphinx."
