　　脸上的表情是最丰富的。如果有人告诉你pull a long face 你会作何联想呢?中文不是有“拉长脸”一说吗?在英文里，pull a long
face 即指“耷拉着脸，愁眉苦脸”。光是pull a face 也可以表达这个意思，因为 pull
本身就有“拉长”的意思，想来人不高兴的时候脸都很长吧。例如：Lyle is 14, but he's still a boy. He pulls a face
when he's upset.
        　　但是pull a face 不仅限于“拉长脸”哦，广义上它可以指“contort the face to indicate a certain
mental or emotional state扭曲脸部以表示一种情绪”，既可以表示不高兴时的“长脸”，也可以表示高兴时的“鬼脸”，这里它就相当于“make
a face”了，例如：Chad made a face at me and stuck out his tongue. 但是要注意，make a face
也有表示“不高兴”的意思哦：'I hate pepperoni pizza!' he said, making a face.
        　　表示“愁眉苦脸”还可以用grimace，可能人们不高兴的时候脸常会扭曲吧：He grimaced when he saw the amount of
homework he had to do.
