　　《党章修正案》 amendment to the CPC Constitution
        　　中共十七大昨日胜利闭幕，大会审议并一致通过十六届中央委员会提出的《中国共产党章程(修正案)》，大会一致同意将科学发展观写入党章。

        　　Delegates to the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China
(CPC) adopted a resolution on the amendment to the CPC Constitution to enshrine
the "scientific outlook on development" and other strategic thoughts
advanced.
        　　The scientific outlook on development "takes development as its essence,
putting people first as its core, comprehensive, balanced and sustainable
development as its basic requirement, and overall consideration as its
fundamental approach", reads the resolution on the amendment to the CPC
Constitution, unanimously passed at Sunday's closing session of national
congress.
        　　This is the fifth amendment to the current edition of the Party
Constitution, adopted at the 12th Party Congress in 1982.
        　　大会审议并一致通过了《中国共产党章程(修正案)》，并一致同意将科学发展观和其他重要战略思想写入党章。
        　　科学发展观，就是全面、协调和可持续的发展观。第一要义是发展，核心是以人为本，基本要求是全面协调可持续，根本方法是统筹兼顾。
        　　这也是自1982年党的十二大以来对《中国共产党章程》做出的第五次修改。
        　　《党章修正案》为“amendment to the CPC Constitution”;写入党章可以说“inscribe in the CPC
Constitution”。另，党章可以说：the Party Constitution 或the CPC Constitution。
