They say that a picture paints a thousand words. I have to say I agree. I love photographs. I used to be crazy about taking pictures. I used to take a lot of black and white photographs and disappear into the dark room( a dark place where pictures may be developed without running the film) for hours just to make pictures. I enjoy taking pictures and looking at pictures. One of my favorite photographs is Ansel Adams. But I don't like to take picture of places or things without people I care about IN the photos.
Recently, because of my cheap digital camera, most of family photos are saved in my computer. I haven't printed out photos or had them developed(to convert film into pictures) for a long time. I should get some done because I have a bunch of empty albums ready. I also have some nice wooden picture frames . I try to take pictures of the kids because they are growing up so quickly. I want to capture them while they are kids... before they grow up on me. I often think about taking pictures with "famous" people that I somethimes work with, but I'm a bit embarrassed. But other than that, when it comes to taking pictures, I'm really not that shy. I like to make funny expressions and have fun while taking pictures. I also don't have a problem asking someone to take a picture of my family and me.
