sketch的意思不是图画，而是对某事物简短和简洁的叙述或描述。“如果我赶时间，我会很快给朋友们扼要描述一下我的巴黎之行，”罗伯特说。“我会简单描述一下在巴黎的市场上见到的各种各样的鱼，”莎莎补充说。

thumbnail sketch of his adventures(冒险经历). A thumbnail sketch isn't actually a
picture, it's a brief and concise (简洁的) account (描述) or description of
something. "If I hurry up, I'll soon be ready to present my friends with a
thumbnail sketch of my trip to Paris," Robert said. "And I will present a
thumbnail sketch of the various kinds of fish I saw in the markets there,"
Sha-sha added.
