        　　A total of 117 people are being held in Southwest China's Chongqing
municipality for forgery as well as defacing road surfaces and the walls of
public buildings with graffiti and illegal advertisements, local police
said。
        　　当地警方称，位处中国西南的重庆市最近共抓获了117名犯有伪造罪、以及在路面和建筑物墙面非法涂抹、张贴非法小广告的人员。
        　　文中的illegal advertisement就是指“非法小广告”，也称为unauthorized
advertisements或者flyposting(非法张贴传单)。比如：Random graffiti and flyposting have become
a problem for many cities across the country。(随意涂抹和张贴小广告已成为我国很多城市的一大难题。)
        　　文中提到的graffiti指的是公共场所乱涂乱画，也称为“涂鸦”。很多“办证”广告直接写在墙面路面上，甚至连小广告都不张贴，成为城市环境的一大痼疾。而这种顽疾对城市生活造成的污染就称为graffiti
pollution(涂鸦污染)。
