实用口语：“创刊号”用英语怎么说

        　　The official English-language journal of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games
launched its inaugural issue on Monday as the southern city headed into the last
60 days before the opening of the Games。
        　　本周一，在距离广州亚运会开幕倒计时60天之际，广州2010年亚运会的英文官方会刊创刊号正式发行。
        　　在上面的报道中，inaugural issue就是“创刊号”。这里的issue指“(报刊、杂志的)一期，期号”，除这里提到的inaugural
issue以外，还有为某一事件发布的special issue(特刊)。Inaugural在这里的意思是“首次的，创立的”，例如：the inaugural
run of the new train(新型列车的首次行驶)。Inaugural还可以表示“开幕的，成立的”或“就职的，就任的”，例如： The
president gave an inaugural speech when he took office。(总统上任时发表就职演说。)
        　　英文中有许多和“首次”有关的表达，如first-day cover(首日封)、maiden work(处女作)、initial public
offering(首次公开发行股票)等等。
