　　工作中难免会遇见请假之类的个人小事，需要请示你的上司。那么这些应该如何来表达呢?又有哪些语言上的技巧呢?一般来说，这要看老板的慷慨程度以及你平时的工作表现而定。所以平时工作努力，偶尔的一次请假应该可以被批准的。当然在请假时需要注意你的语气，要委婉有礼貌，尽量用
“could”，“would”，“Do you mind”这些词。记住：千万别忘了找出一些有创意的理由啊!

        　　病假是永远不会过时的请假理由。“call in
sick”是一个在办公室内常会用到的片语，指的是有人打电话来说他生病了不能来上班。那么，正常的病休要怎么讲呢? 那就是“sick
leave”或者是“medical leave”。
        　　例句：
        　　Shelly just called in sick.
        　　莎莉刚打电话来病休。
        　　Some workers called in sick to have a strike.
        　　有些工人集体打电话病休来罢工。
        　　I need (a) sick leave for two days.
        　　我需要请两天病假。
        　　请休假一般用“take / have the day off”，如果是两天以上就用“days off”。比如，因为妻子要分娩了,
想要请产假，英语中专门有对应的“personal leave”。当然，请假归请假，至于扣不扣薪水 (paid /
unpaid)?这就要看各公司的规定了。
        　　例句：
        　　Wouldn't it be possible for me to take the day off this Friday?
        　　这个星期五，我是否可以休假一天?
        　　I'm asking for a three-day paid/unpaid personal leave when my wife
        　　gives births.

        　　在提出请假的申请以后，再来看看老板可能给予的答复：
        　　1、肯定的回答：
        　　All right
        　　行。
        　　No problem.
        　　没问题。
        　　That's fine with me. / That's okay with me. / No complaints here.
        　　我同意。
        　　2、否定的回答：
        　　It's not likely. There's a lot of work to do.
        　　可能不行，还有很多工作要做。
        　　Don't count on it.
        　　别指望了。
        　　Impossible!That is too much.
        　　绝对不行!太过分了。
        　　Don't talk to me about that.
        　　这件事别再跟我谈了。
        　　3、考虑性回答：
        　　I'll consider it.

        　　I don't fully approve. / I can't give my full approval.
        　　我不完全同意。
        　　例句：
        　　1、A: Excuse me Mr. Smith. Do you mind if I leave a little early
        　　tonight? It's my daughter's birthday.

        　　1、对肯定答复表示感谢：

        　　I'm much obliged / indebted to you.
        　　我实在感激不尽。
        　　2、对否定答复表示妥协
        　　That's it, then.
        　　那只好这样了。
        　　Sorry, I hadn't thought of that. / Yes, silly of me not to have
        　　thought of that.
        　　不好意思，我没有想到这些。
        　　Yes, you're probably right (in making the decision).
        　　是啊，您这样决定是对的。

        　　3、表达不满/失望：
