第66届柏林国际电影节于当地时间2月20日落下帷幕，意大利纪录片《海上火焰》摘取最佳影片，这是柏林电影节史上首部纪录片夺得金熊奖。评委会大奖银熊奖由波黑的政治寓言电影《萨拉热窝之死》获得，15年前，导演丹尼斯·塔诺维奇曾凭借处女作《无主之地》就获得了第74届奥斯卡金像奖最佳外语片。最佳男女演员奖分别由突尼斯电影《赫迪》的Majd
Mastoura与丹麦影片《公社》的女星崔娜·迪斯霍尔姆夺得。今年唯一代表华语片出征的爱情魔幻电影《长江图》，依靠李屏宾的摄影获得杰出艺术贡献银熊奖。
《海上火焰》是一部由意大利年轻导演吉安弗兰科·罗西执导的纪录片，影片讲述近些年大量从非洲等地乘船涌入到意大利小岛兰佩杜萨岛上的难民状态。兰佩杜萨岛位处地中海中部岛屿，位于西西里岛与突尼斯之间，其主要是一个渔村，每年会吸引不少潜水爱好者享受未受污染的水域，全岛面积仅有21平方公里。近年来，大量来自北非等地的难民乘船到达这里，希望由此进入欧洲大陆，据新闻报道，2011年初至今，已有2万多名北非非法移民乘船越过地中海，来到兰佩杜萨岛，其中绝大部分人来自突尼斯，其他移民来自利比亚、埃及、埃塞俄比亚等国。据联合国网站报道，联合国难民署2011年4月6日发表声明称，一艘满载着300多名移徙者的船只当天凌晨在距离意大利最南端的兰佩杜萨岛40英里处的海域发生倾覆事件，造成至少250人不幸遇难。
"Fire at Sea" - a harrowing documentary about Europe's refugee crisis - has
clinched the top prizeat the Berlin Film Festival, the Golden Bear. Meanwhile,
Chinese film "Crosscurrent" has beenawarded for "Outstanding Artistic
Contribution".
For the first time ever, the Golden Bear award has gone to a
documentary!
"Fire at Sea" was filmed on the Italian island of Lampedusa - the first
destination for manymigrants in their perilous journeys toward safety and a
better life in Europe.

Director Gianfranco Rosi's perspective contrasts the native islanders'
everyday life with that of thenewcomers.
"I want to thank also the festival for having the courage to put a
documentary again on thefestival with feature films, so this was an enormous
victory for me already. Thank you so much.Thank you," said Rosi.
Best-Actor and -Actress awards went to Majd Mastoura and Trine Dyrholm,
respectively.
"I just want to thank the jury from the bottom of my heart for giving me
this award. I'm so happyand proud to receive this in the world's best festival,"
said Trine Dyrholm, Best Actress winner.
Chinese film "Chang Jiang Tu" - English name "Crosscurrent" - was awarded
with a Silver Bear forOutstanding Artistic Contribution, acknowledging the
cinematography of Mark Lee Ping-Bing. |
