新东方网英语讯：北京时间2月4日，有着美国“春晚”之称的NFL超级碗终于上演，为了这场饕餮盛宴NBA将比赛调整到下午时段以避开锋芒，要知道届时全民只看超级碗而其他的神马比赛都会失去魅力。对于旧金山49人与巴尔的摩乌鸦队奉献的这场美国“春晚”。
       
        　　There are just under 24-hours to go until the Baltimore Ravens meet the San Francisco Giants in this year’s US Superbowl which will crown the season’s football champions.
        　　The February 3rd NFL championship will be held in New Orleans - it’s the first time the city has hosted the game since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast region almost eight years ago. CCTV correspondent Sean Callebs is in New Orleans with more.
        　　They came for a party --Baltimore, and San Francisco fans alike. And Chef Richard Hughes says --it’s exactly what they are getting.
        　　Richard Hughes, Pelican club, said, “A lot of people have a misconception maybe we haven’t recovered from Katrina--This is going to show them we are back 100 percent.”
        　　But, anyway you slice it.. New Orleans remains a tale of two cities.. One thriving ... and one ---like this. Homes --and neighborhoods, still bearing the scars of the killer hurricane that left its mark all along the Gulf Coast back in August 2005.
        　　Zach Rosenberg, St. Bernard project, said, “It’s a fantastic place to do business, it’s a fantastic to do vocation. For people whose homes are complete--it’s a great place to live. Unfortunately we gave six-thousand families who own homes--That they can’t afford to rebuild.”
        　　For six-and-a-half years.. Zach Rosenberg has been one of the driving forces behind the St. Bernard Project -- The charitable organization has rebuilt more than 500 homes.
        　　Among the project’s major financial supporters -- the man under this hat, you may recognize him -- John Paul DeJoria .. Billionaire philanthropist .. founder of John Paul Mitchell hair products, and Patron Tequila.
        　　John Paul Dejoria, volunteer, said, “We have this opportunity to do something for saint bernard project-- So we can actually participate. All my family and friends that here, all believe this the same thing. Success unshared is failure.”
        　　The NFL is capitalizing on this opportunity for community support --800 volunteers working in areas like Pontchartrain Park this super bowl weekend. Mayor Mitch Landrieu says improved playgrounds could make a difference -and keep some kids from going bad.
        　　Mayor Mitch Landrieu, New Orleans, said, “Crime continues to be a problem all over America. You know the president has been addressing those issues as congress has. We are going to keep working really hard cause if your not safe. You can’t be free. That’s really the end of the game right there.”
