White House Christmas decorations unveiled
US First Lady Michelle Obama has unveiled this year’s Christmas decorations at the White House and the theme this year is "Joy to All".
The presidential mansion features a statue of First Dog Bo, garland-filled hallways and 54 Christmas trees. As a nod to former First Ladies, four of the trees include ornaments honoring Michelle Obama’s predecessors dating back to Jacqueline Kennedy.
The largest of the trees can be found in the Blue Room, a centerpiece of the decorations which this year pays tribute to military families. Another highlight is the White House Gingerbread House, weighing nearly 300 pounds, complete with a candy replica of the First Lady’s garden outside.
