Smart gadgets showcased at Christmas Ideal Home Show
A winter woolly hat that replaces headphones and an iPad app that allows you to make your own Christmas cards. They’re just two of the gadgets being showcased at a festive shopping event in London.
There are plenty of technology gift ideas to try out at the "Ideal Home Show at Christmas" event, being held at London’s Earls Court exhibition centre.

One of the latest iPad apps on show gives users the chance to create their own personalised, festive greeting cards.
Budding designers can upload a photo and dress family and friends in Santa hats, elf costumes, and other fun accessories.
Suzie Perry, TV presenter &Gadgets Expert, said, "You can make Christmas cards using photos from your phone send them to your friends so you never miss a pal. Let’s face it we all do sometimes."
If the task of preparing Christmas dinner fills you with fear, there are also kitchen gadgets at the show to make things less stressful.
The latest in gaming is also being showcased at the London event. Visitors young and old are trying out Playstation games, with interactive activities such as bowling and dancing.
Another gadget being tipped for success this Christmas is the iMusic hat, which allows the user to listen to music without traditional wired headphones.
Gadgets expert &blogger Anthony Goody said, "It uses something called a little wiki transmitter which takes the music from your MP3 Player and rather than playing it into ear phones actually wirelessly transmits it to the speakers in the hat."
Away from the entertainment gift ideas, visitors to the Christmas show are also being drawn by a compact, travel size humidifier. Here any standard bottle with tap water can be connected to the nozzle and turns dry air in your home into a much more comfortable substance to breathe.
