Hot "Silver Screen" films to hit theaters
Along with Resident Evil:Retribution, a host of new films are about to hit the big-screen. Let’s take a sneak peek at the movie, as well as two other predicted Hollywood smashes, "Now is Good" and"Arbitrage", set to hit theaters this month.
Milla Jovovich returns as Alice in "Resident Evil: Retribution," for another round of battles against the Umbrella Corporation and the undead. She talked on playing a strong female role at the film’s LA premiere.
Milla Jovovich, Lead Actrss of "Resident Evil: Retribution", said, "I think it’s incredible, because if you really look even 15 years ago, it was so difficult for women in film to kick butt, to be the strong female action heroes that really are the leads of a film. "
Her girl-power, along with that of Li Bingbing’s, can be seen in theatres on September 14th.
Just one day later, on September 15th, "Now is Good" is expected to hit the big-screen. The story follows a British teenager named Tessa, who decides to live her life in fast-forward after being diagnosed with Leukaemia.
Dakota Fanning, Actress, said, "She’s a very complicated character and obviously she kind of knows her life is going to end soon. And she’s trying to make the most of what’s left."
Hollywood A-list actors Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon play an unhappy married couple in "Arbitrage." The movie has been getting positive reviews from critics and even award show buzz.
But Sarandon said she doesn’t really pay attention to reviews.
Susan Saradon, Actress, said, "I'm not capable of forgetting them once I read them so the good ones and the bad ones both stick with me and it’s not really a great thing."
"Arbitrage" opens on September 14th in the United States.
