Recent years have witnessed the prevalence of the advancement of different
technologies, thus it becomes possible for increasingly more robots to take the
place of human beings in work and life in the future years, which will exert a
profound impact on our life.
From my perspective, there are good reasons to believe that the influence
is two- sided. On the one hand, it is the robots that help human beings increase
their working efficiency so that more labors can be put into the study of some
sophisticated technology, which emancipates them from certain fundamental works
and makes it possible to create a more convenient life. However, on the other
hand, more robots in industry means less people are needed in some certain
fields, leading to the unemployment of people with less education. To
illustrate, if robots are endowed with the function of repairing cars, the
automobile mechanic, of course, will lose their jobs. So the prevalence of
robots will put a higher requirement on human being’s education.
By and large, we can come to the conclusion that the impact of robots on
people’s life is a double-edged sword. Only by receiving higher education can we
