1.-Hey, what's up? We haven't formally met,
-but I feel like I know you in sort of a vibe-y level.
-I'm Jimmy "The Rocket" Zara.
1. What’s up?“你好吗?”，相当于“Hi，Hello”
e.g.某人，小杨到汤姆家作客。汤姆有两个孩子。小孩一见到小杨就说："What's up!"小杨回应说，"I am
fine!"。孩子们都笑了。后来汤姆解释说，小孩子说"What's up!"是"Hello"的意思，你不用回应或说"Hello"即可。
e.g. -Hey ,what’s up, buddy? 怎么样啊，老朋友?
= -Hey, What have you been doing ? 这些日子在干什么呢?
- I’m good. (回答，我很好。)
-Things are good.(一切都好。)
-Everything’s going good.
其他打招呼用语
1)- How are you doing?
- I'm doing good.
How are you doing 这句话运用的最“出神入化”的要算是老友记里的Joey,他每次见到美女都会跟人家搭讪说“How are you
doing.”
类似的问好方式还有：
How's everything going?
Howdy!
What's up?
几句话都相当于“你怎么样?”“你好吗?”但如果细究，第一句似问对方最近一切是否顺利;第二句据说是从How do ye?
这句19世纪初的问候语简化而来;而第三句则侧重问对方那里有没有新闻，但实际就是打招呼。
2. Troy Bolton just sent me a text.
Probably just checking in.
"Been driving all night. I'll try to make it for the second act.
- Break a leg." - "Break a leg"? What does that mean?
Dude, that's show biz for "you're going on tonight."
- As Troy? - Yeah.
- Onstage? - Yeah.
- Oh, no. - Get it!
析:
口语中常用“Break a leg”。It is used to wish someone luck,especially just before
they perform on the stage.
祝成功。(用于祝愿演员演出成功)
第二课 语法篇
1. If引导的非真实条件状语从句
-Listen, I wouldn't sing with you if my hair was on fire and you were the
last bucket of water on Earth.
- I wouldn't sing with you if I were starving and you were the last pickle
at the picnic.
听着，我不会和你一起唱歌除非我头发着火而你是世界上最后一桶水。
我也不会和你一起唱歌除非我饿死而你是世界上最后一罐泡菜。
析：此句话条件句用了一般过去时，主句用了过去将来时。表示一种虚拟语气。
虚拟语气用来表示说话人的主观愿望或假想，所说的是一个条件，不一定是事实，或与事实相反。非真实条件句表示的是假设的或实际可能性不大的情况，故采用虚拟语气。
时态：可以表示过去，现在和将来的情况。它的基本特点是时态退后。
a. 同现在事实相反的假设。
句型 ： 条件从句， 主句
一般过去时， should( would) +动词原形
If they were here, they would help you.
2.比较级和最高级
- Win the part? - Think bigger
- Become superstars? - That's better
-Don't you see that bigger is better .And better is bigger
-A little bit it is never enough No, no, no Don't you want it all?
-You want it. You know that you want it
-The fame and the fortune and more
-You want it all
-You want the world, nothing less

语法：
bigger is better .(=the bigger ,the better.)
the+比较级，the+比较级
越…,越….
Eg. The more careful you are ,the more marks you will get .
3.定语从句

picked a school that's exactly 32.7......miles from you.
语法链接1定语从句中的指代人的关系代词,who, whom, that
(1)Is he the man who/whom wants to see you?
他是那个想见你的男人吗?(who/that在从句中作主语)
(2)He is the man (whom/that) I saw yesterday.
他就是我昨天见的那个人。(whom/that在从句中作宾语)
(3)The man whom you spoke to just now is our English teacher.
你刚刚说话的那个男人是我们的英语老师。(whom在从句中作宾语)
注：who在定语从句中指人，作主语和宾语，作宾语时可省略;做及物动词或介词的宾语，可省略。
2, 定语从句中的指代物的关系代词which、that 用来指物
(1)The prosperity which/that had never appeared before took on in the
countryside.农村出现了前所未有的繁荣。(which/that在从句中作主语)
(2)The package (which/that) you are carryingis about to come
unwrapped.你拿那个包裹快要散开了。(which/that在从句中作宾语)
4.祈使句
Take my hand
Take a breath

这里祈使句表示建议，请求。表现出女主角对男主角的邀请。
第三课 翻译篇
